this weekend

had a busy n fulfilling weekend [ can honestly say i did NOTHING with the exception of swimming this week except study!

so i HAD to release all that stress!!!
decided to not go back on friday, played badminton with the lot and watched toothfairy [ i really recommend it to everybody it's really cute :)

on saturday, went to food floundry for lunch with bugs [ i had bbq lamb ribs and bugs had chicken cordon blue ] food was a bit pricey, my portion was a lot but not that worth it

den went to rejuvenate at Kapas spa!! treated myself for a sauna n a full body massage :)
that night, went to al-andalus for bash n aleefa's bday party! really nice ambience actually n magnificent cake..wanted to shisha bt did not have the time..had supper with family at coffee bean hhu

on sunday went to see bugs dad with the parents, i'm glad they initiated the visit and not me. we'll pray for the best ye..

with the risk of getting barred [ which everybody has the tendency to ] we shall start the first day of the 8th sem with kekalutan and keserabutan.

THE BAD

i left my pens god knows where, i love those pens.
my schedule is packed [ though prof ikram is teaching, and dr wahid whom i found makes learning entertaining ]
papa rich forgot to punch our orders so we only had time to drink after waiting a long time for breakfast

THE GOOD

i am thankful to have sumone who i can exchange notes with, it makes life soo much easier
class so far has been interesting
i come with new resolutions [ to bring lunch to school everyday ]
i can go back to swimming!

no ugly things happened today, we learned about how to test sumone for thier vision and i was really intrigued by the fact that i can test nawal to see how her eyesight is doing..

pahang mari~day 2

honestly thought the boys were gonna be late, but they were early! they came at 8.30 n we brue nk bgn. shame shame

breakfast at rois [ nasi goreng, roti,nasi lemak, laksam, laksa, milo n nescafe]

jln2 pekan [ had fun posing at royal polo club, jeti pekan ]



went to rois moms clinic [ how cool is it that there is a clinic named after you?

stopped at petronas [ azrul nk wiwi, cari super ring yg dh kne curi xde also ]

kuala gandah elephant sanctuary! [ feed the elephants, rode on 'em it was so much fun! these elephants are taken care of ]


at this time again the girls were already thinking ' LAPA! '

bentong waterfall [ last yr two people died there, saw some bapoks, water was freezing cold ]

bentong rest house to feed nearly begging appetite [ a wedding would be fab there, nice place; rm40 per night, really nice decor bugsy wants his house to be like that later]

sent ridz back home [ tahaned the urge to say we met his inlaws! to his dad :) ]

went back to zys~sated and happy

pahang mari~day 1

so i've been out of reach for about two days.. if ur wondering where we went

we went to PAHANG!

some might call it perjumpaan mertua :) but that's not where i was involved [sorry!] we went merate pahang for two days!

day 1:

met at zys house [ had fantastic nasi lemak n kuihs ]

went on zy's naza ria to bentong [ picked up ridu who was surprisingly outside his house terkunci]

the second die masuk teros kene kacau the WHOLE way :)

lupe nk bwk towel!! [ went to buy one at a supermarket -bak kate ridu ' tmpt nielaa i lepak kecik2 dulu]

went to kuala gandah, pahang the elephant sanctuary but found that the limit of people to bathe was already full so booked a place for tommorow

the deerland next! an array of animals fed the deers [ kene kejar more like, was fun to see them all geli with the iguanas n the snake ]

drove to a waterfall in Maran [ same place as when we went during the flood - rase cm gie hiking also the amount we had to climb to get to the place-we had fun being scared coz the road was a bit dangerous ]

the girls n i were thinking: BILE NK MAKAN NIE???

drove to pekan [ by this time me n fara already dh zzzz nanad was the only one alive that night]

sampai rois' house [ sparkling clean, like herself n ate soooo much!-2 lauk aym, 2 lauk ikan, sayur n her dad made sambal!]

boys went to sleep above roi's moms clinic, we washed our clothes n slept.

let the holidays begin!

right, so today marks the end of the first half of fourth year :)

the ortho exams were better than the FMS exam [ Alhamdullilah ]

we had our grand reflection just now, a very short one considering how much time we usually spend. met our new president, i had this piece of paper infront of me to read out his name, and it was not because his name was long, but it was because he had so many titles! won't mention them all here. he looked young to be a president, spoke like a politician and has charisma. we shall see, i have faith in him [ hopefully ]

the grand reflection had a lot of learning issues and take home messages for us to ponder upon.

1. our content is not enuf [ a very emphasized hint for us to study more ]

2. we need to keep practising the universal prayer

3. we have blossomed into mature leaders so far

4. the the professional exam is near. [ oklaa, not so near but quite ]

so this made me think of how much knowledge we've lost so far from our pre-clinical years, prof thuaibah said that wherever we get stuck in later when we are doctors, if our basic is enuf we can prevail. but let me pose this question:

WHAT IF OUR BASICS ARE NOT STRONG?

i highly anticipate we shall be in loads of trouble. thus i've come up with a plan alongside my favourite person.

to study our basics: anatomy and physiology especially on Sundays. now why waste time lepaking and most of all- eating [ where it goes straight to the bum, why not make it straight to the brain cells instead? ]. i hope we sit down and discuss the study plans and what we need to achieve together.

p/s: what books are good for specialty posting?

we are discussing our answers for the family medicine exam. i think there are a lot of answers i answered wrong because of carelessness. damn.

back pain

i have really horrible back pain, been there for about 2 days accompanied by either a swelling or muscle spasm. help!

exams n exercises

right. so today was the second part of our FMS exams, i had a case of

1. nausea
2. vomiting ( with specks of blood )
3. fever
4. constipation
5. headache

so it went allright for me this time. suddenly the electricity went out in the whole KK for the first time in our history. we were like WHAT! thus we were hot and sweating but everyone was not complaining since dr. Hazian [ the newly known TKC old girl ] was the bomb and we did not feel that it was an exam.
we did an fbc for her and her platelets n hematocrit were low thus she is supposed to repeat an fbc tomorrow to rule out dengue. cool.

so here i am at home, since i forgot to bring my laptop. just got off the threadmill feeling holla i wanna lose my weight n waist circumference!

p/s: i so cannot wait to go with my peeps to pahang :) hullaballooo!!!

my exam sucked. i am so dissapointed with myself.

the only thing great that happened today was the sushi king after the feedback, the swimming n bugsy.

now, we're doing our gp posting presentation and i have a headache. hurm.

p/s: me, aamir, hanum n naj are not sleeping tonight. we're watching bugs sleep on sys's bed while waiting for me to finish tho :)

very important conclusions. enough with the movies and the money spending behavior. i shall prevail! hurm, so putih is not rosak and bought something at cotton on today [ lovely clothes with suitable prices, shoes are a steal! ] and watched cirque du freak with adeks ribena. i cherish the person who takes the pains to listen to my animated and loud self especially when i am moody and hungry = angry. or when i am pmsing and i get pissed of. met anuar n paa, nuar at pavilion n paa at mid.lol. i do not want to go out next weekend. fullstop

happy new year!! needless to day my new years was a blast. thanks to faradiana n zuzu, me n bugs went to sunway pyramid to watch Sherlock Holmes [ 5 stars! u should watch it ] with another anonymous batch couple shall i say huhu

we stayed until 12 am to:

watch the sunway fireworks!!! i have to say, it was one of the most assuring nights in my life to go and say: HAPPY NEW YEAR!
we rushed to bukit antarabangsa to hang out with syuz, hana, buddy and ejanne..a lot of animated talk between 5 girls and a boy: was soooo hungry i had nachos

went home at 5 am!!! bugs escorted me back so there were two cars before going back to UK perdana..

todays news? slept the whole day! have a left sided throbbing headache..loved it all!! and love the people i spent new years with ~
