family medicine phew wit!

glucometer ( poor fingers bein pricked )

day 1: excitement!

reasons:

1. too much of herbalife tea in the morning

2. dapat famous amos and panda cookies in the morning!

3. interesting classes

the nicest surprise :)

started the day with cereal! in family medicine you HAVE to be punctual really or else u'll get a red mark on your logbook. mixed feelings today, sad to leave the relaxed life of ortho but looking forward to busy days. intro on FMS, dr azizah was true to what others described her to be, passionate with her work.
my first impression on dr hairel anuar ( name like papa ) is that he is a perfectionist. army styled hair, crisp shirt and shiny shoes, about 30 plus. dr norlehan is FUN! she conducted the lecture on the pillars in FMS and it was interactive. the first thing dr. siti told me when i entered class was:

'it is my personal aim to makesure u do not want to leave FMS by the end of the 8th week"

that's a wee bit scary, but who knew that nasal sprays, MDIs and peak flows would be interesting? a very simple yet educational CST with teaching on the proper way to explain patients when doing minute procedures. simple, yet important for thier well being.
all in all, a LOT of reading to do but a very good start i might say!
