topic: the challenges and opportunities in the medical profession

needless to say, the auditorium was full.it was a delightful public lecture on her experiences, on how medicine has changed throughout her years and that if there were pharmacists in University Malaya there would be another musical. i loved her experiences, especially since there were only 7 houseman at her hospital during her time and how they reduced the maternal mortality rate.

there was also a question and answer session as well in which 4 people got the chance to ask, 1st year, 4 th and 5th year MBBS ( amri was our rep ), and a pharmacy lecturer. she answered a question lingering in my mind, about the issue on doctors being too far away from home and their ailing parents and also should urban doctors go to rural areas.
