trust me, i don't like it when i get pre-menstrual syndrome. the emotions suck me dry and i regret doing a lot of things like upsetting myself and those around me.

today, i'll talk about individuality. noone should tell you what you are, what you should do. they can suggest, bt untimately you decide. i know, i am a high strung person, a control-freak if u say so..i plan my life, i know where i want to be in 5, in 10 years time..and yes, i would like to be with someone who plans as well bt if that is not meant to be then so be it.i have a lot of goals i want to achieve. things i have promised myself on how i want to enjoy my youth before children arrive. so that i won't look back and regret. and that's what makes me who i am.

you, whoever you might be out there. u are urself. don't judge, don't expect things and definitely don't assume. make YOUR own choices, your OWN decisions. there will be people who don't understand, people who despise you. i have my share of those. open yourself up, be the individual you want to become. in short, find yourself.

and if you want to, i am the last person to stop u..i don't want to and i will not. even if it means keeping us at bay. if that's what you want.

multicoloured sponge cake!

so i saw this picture in tumblr one day and i wanted to make one like it..i saw the recipe for hot milk sponge cake and saw the perfect opportunity :) bugsy wanted orange and pink but i didn't have the colouring so i made the layers into three: red, blue and green!! covered the layers with vanilla frosting..it's a big sweet but still delicious, alhamdulillah..so here i present to you:

a summary of my weekend

i had quite a busy weekend last week, since PMD was today ( only thing i can say is Alhamdulillah and thanks to Roi for praying for me )

it was a VERY VERY VERY satisfying performance yesterday, though only for one and a half hours..i went with the aim to not have a voice by the time it finished, though i didn't manage to get that, it was very awesome indeed.

we were lied to bt we're happy?

we were told by Prof Khai to be at the auditorium at 4.30pm coz the external examiners for pro exam 3 wanted to give us some advice but we were mistaken. it's actually for a forum between the external examiners, the lecturers and us. here are some quotes from there ( i have never seen prof Rashid this happy )

i have a couple of reflections for this week. the first on how i am so inadequately boring when it comes to make-up and style. yes, i have never bothered before and i will bother from now on. when we start working later on, we won't have time to bother about all this. i was at my friends blog and her style of blogging is very much up to trend now, even her way of writing. many girls our age are beginning to blog like that and it is a joy to read their posts. all about how to be creative while taking care of your aurat. so i have decided to venture out and follow different sites then the ones i follow now. currently, everyday i visit these sites while updating my tumblr daily:

secondly, i think i have had a lot of heart to heart talks for this month the last one lasted for 4 hours straight and we have never talked this long before. it cleared a lot of things, owned up to not being happy wit someone from his past even after 2 years ( i know i should be secure by now ). my confidence is lowest when i compare myself with prettier, cleverer and thinner women and i'm working on improving that.

my blog was started solely for personal reasons, an online diary which will be privatized as soon as i graduate. however, i wish i knew how to make it nicer and more reader friendly since i'm now in ortho and we have three free days ( nunabuek needs a makeover! )

iranian food

it was my last day of puasa Raya, alhamdulillah this year it's complete :)

we've been itching to go to the arab restaurants on the stretch near mines in seri kembangan. so yesterday night was ideal.

i felt like i was in an arab country!

i felt like a foreigner at my own country coz the roads were full of arabs, the shops consisted of arab grocery shops and we found an iranian bread stall! all signs were in arabic, even the groceries! i was fascinated i tell u! we bought iranian chocolate biscuits at the bread stall which had a tinge of ginger in them

we chose to eat at this iranian restaurant called Miami restaurant ( klaka sikit ), the food was really good eventhough bugsy said Arriana's ( in cyberjaya ) is nicer. i saw fanta on the menu and got excited but they served the f&n orange instead..here are some of the pics:

open houses 3

i was determined, DETERMINED I TELL YOU! to go to all the houses this weekend and alhamdulillah managed to do so ;)

short review on each house:

1. buddy: her house is finally finished and it was beautiful sans electricity which came back 10minutes before we left, had lasksa johor, green rice with rendang, awed over the saris she bought back and pesaned some more

2. haz: been wanting to go since second year, nice spacey house and her juling cat ( bugsy was mystified and kept laughing until the cat scratched him ), ate spaghetti briyani and haz made nice pudding!

3. azrul: another house i've been wanting to go to, played with his very well-behaved nephew, thought of not eating ( too full ) but had the pizza and it was so delicious! suprised that azrul cooked it himself, recommend him to sell 'em, i would buy one every day!

4. aamir: kambing!!! haha well more than that act. shaqs family was there *hint hint* and we had a great time laughing and cam-whoring while eating briyani kambing, apple crumble, brownies, and caramel tea

5. fara ( amongst all my friends, her house punya interior decoration is the bomb! ): went in straight to see presto!! but he tak layan :( had one bite of pizza, coz i thought that was the only food then i saw briyani so had to have some of that. could not stand the coffee, so went up ( buat mcm rumah sendiri ) and slept until bugsy sent fara up to tell me it's time to go home

wonderful day! and today i have diarrhea.always happens after open houses, it's like my GIT systems protest for all the food eaten prior. caught bugsy dozing off a little while he drove yesterday, was very scared coz i thought he's be ok. pity him, he drove the whole day. had a heart to heart talk again. this is what i like about us, we talk and talk about our plans, ketidakpuashatian and everything. he definitely is the best

bowling and being ambidexterous

i have never been good at bowling!!

as i was about to have buka at KFC ( yes i know, FAT! ) i was told by my housemates who had earlier went to Ikea that they would like to continue their evening with bowling or ice-skating. i like both, but i am not good in bowling. so i asked them to confirm with me and i ended up being at Alamanda with the girls for a night out.
my first game sucked horribly. i did not want to take pics of the score as i sucked big time. i used my left hand, and for the 2nd game i improved after using my right hand ( no points guessing which hand is stronger ). the place was very packed and the music was really loud. we were sandwiched in between teams that scored strike after strike while we laughed at ourselves for getting 'consistent' zeros! hail farhana for winning the overall score :)

i have known that i am ambidextrous for quite some time now, having realized this in 2nd year. some of the examples include:

LEFT HAND:
1. writing

3. playing badminton and football

RIGHT HAND:
1. bowling
2. ironing
3. cooking

and both hands: typing ( obviously ) and suturing ( i just change hands when i'm tired ) yeay for us!!!
